Thanks for the info and that makes a little more sense. Glad CS didn't waste one of the kid's officials. He didn't have to do that. Good luck to the young man and better to deal with any issues now instead of after he is on campus. Hopefully his coach doesn't blast Strong now. Seems to be a popular thing to do now.
I guess he was getting some crap from Longhorns acting like aggy (or maybe it was aggy doing impersonations?)

well you know what? its a good thing this is getting taken care of now instead of on nsd...dont need any of these issues happening now..Strong and Co really need to recruit there tails off and put on the best OV with the prospects they got now...and I mean give it all what they got..

Thank you and things are going well. They have learned that they outnumber us now lol. We are about to have their 1st birthdays, the 18th and 22nd.
Joeywa has been bugging me for months to join so I figured I should check it out. It is a lot harder to keep up with recruiting from just Twitter and other free stuff without message boards. I have already gotten more info in 2 hours here than in the last 3 months as a Nomad.

Update on ATH Louis Brown...Scout mentioned he posted a video on his Instragram last night in which he was under the influence and using terrible language. I'll post anything else I see, but it sounds like he was told to go home.

Was this video from his visit to ATX on Friday night or just him screwing around with his "homies" in Burton?
I hope there was more to it than just that and I would be willing to bet there is. Maybe this was just the straw that broke the camel's back.Thank GOD there was none of this social media crap when I was that age. I would only get jobs spreading sawdust over puke piles in a High School lol.

If the kid was underage and drunk, Strong had to send him home. If the core values mean something you have to uphold them.

I hesitate to post anything negative. Apparently, it wasn't just a instagram video. There's more to it but you can connect the dots. But it had everything to do with Charlie's core value system and nothing to do with grades.
I don't know how Hig could have "expected" what happened. No one else did.
Oh please don't get me wrong, I agree with sending him home, but I'm not sure it is worth pulling a ship. Kids are going to make bad choices, that is a given. Posting a video on Instagram was just f'ing dumb. Strong has proven numerous times that he doesn't play and these kids know it.
My first day on a ship I was told something I still remember to this day. My 1st Class pulled me aside and said "Don't make me do my job and you will be fine here. I have enough going on without dealing with something that could have been avoided." These kids are learning not to force Strong's hand. He has a hell of a bitch slap.
