2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Maybe he wants to make a decision on his own timetable and not yours. It's only one of the most important decision in his life.
trust me, it's not about me at all!  however, maybe burt should hereby DECOMMITT from the LONGHORNS first... and start all over again!

hasn't he already made a decision... or did he somehow forget?  this is simply ridiculous!
The mail is slow in the southeast.  His Dad is waiting to make sure he gets his check from the Auburn booster

Can we all stop with the checks in the mail stuff.  I know its mostly a joke but its getting old.

If a kid doesnt want to come to UT fine lets move on and get the next kid and if he wants to play here even better.

Honestly put yourself in his shoes.  Your one of the best WR in the country and you watched the games.  Do you blame him for looking around?

The last thing the UT coaches would want Burt to do is make some official announcement that he's not longer committed to Texas. It would just make it more difficult to commit back to Texas.

Burt opening up his recruiting with Auburn has made it to where UT is under no obligation to honor Burt's commitment if they decide to go after any other WR.

well then DON'T COMMIT IN THE FIRST PLACE!  burt is not some two year old toddler.  he is a young adult for whom has been around the recruitment merry go round.  when he COMMITTED to TEXAS at the beginning of the season, he made it as heartfelt / sincere as possible.  he new the TEXAS football situation or lack there of first hand.  strong was indeed very upfront and honest with him and his family.  let us place a halt to the constant spin moves here!  burt and his father became a bit enchanted as per the southern charm, glamor, momentum, and winning combinations that auburn brought forth... until they started losing that is...

if he is at a point in his young life that he has become discombobulated as per his commitment to TEXAS.. then we can easily present him the benefit of the doubt here.  therefore, keep it quiet and take care of your business.  however, every time you look around there is a headline or tweet with a new discourse.  now he is hereby stating to the nation that he shall wait upon NSD to reveal his latest decision... this is indeed a circus!

latest Rivals 250 includes --

Toby Weathersby

Connor Williams

Kirk Johnson

Patrick Vahe

We have six 4-stars total, if you include John Burt, who is our highest ranked commit per Rivals

Here is a brief video by Mike Farrell - he discusses Weathersby at around the :50 mark (note the time is regressive not progressive)

primal, please cut off your spin machine here and reference my post above.  burt has indeed made his recruitment into a circus and everyone now knows it.  you should see what they are saying about upon the OB... not nice!

Sorry, I don't own a spin machine. If Burt's recruitment is such a circus, then Coach Strong has the right to move on to a different WR. For someone who is always posting Keep Calm, you don't follow your own advice.

If you have a problem with Burt, then you should also have a problem with Cecil Cherry. He's doing the same thing as Burt. He committed to Tennessee, didn't decommit and took a visit to Texas.

I'm not a member of OB, so I miss out on the great conversation over there.

Good Scout film on Patrick Vahe, including interview

http://texas.scout.com/story/1486977-scout-spotlight-patrick-vahe?s=110

Scout Evaluation --
"Plays with a very high level of consistency and offers versatility. He can play up and down the offensive line, and can already center snap. He recognizes defenses, helps with calls and comes off the ball in a flash after snapping. He uses his quickness to his advantage getting good placement on his blocks and he is big enough and strong enough to finish off, but he will need to add to that in college to take on the even bigger and stronger guys."

LSU's scout page has Les took his home visit with Malik last night. Malik tweeted great visit. I'm glad Les took his at home early.

2015 WR Gilbert Johnson (6'5,200) of Miami = WR with Great Size
Currently a Georgia commit. But he took OV to Austin in Nov with the other Florida players.
We have a good shot (no matter what Burt ends up doing)

cecil cherry, was hereby trying his very best to be respectful as per tennessee, that is until he got into a shouting match as per vol nation and they pissed him off.  (please perform a bit of due diligence)  cecil cherry, is a southern florida thoroughbred; and he certainly doesn't have to take any BS off of the people of tennessee (especially when he already knows the real deal).

the only issue that i have with burt, is that today's football recruits are highly sophisticated.. highly counseled / mentored.. and very well traveled.  depending upon the * star ratings as per these recruits, everyone is hereby watching and awaiting their every move.. sans malik jefferson / ryan newsome.  TEXAS, last gridiron matchup with tcu was a public relations disaster!  there were hereby 40+ recruits at that particular DKR matchup.  any recruit that was hereby hanging upon the narrow edge.. is now about to head off of the cliff!

NSD is within this month of december. we need for our recruits to be focused and prepared.  not swinging back and forth like some scene from the movie THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM!  if burt just does not want to honor his commitment to TEXAS... then be a man and let the TEXAS officials know this.  decommitt, and head to wherever you heart desires.  allow for the TEXAS staffers to start focusing upon recruits that really desire to be at TEXAS.  like i have duly stated beforehand... i harbor no problem presenting burt the benefit of the doubt here.  however, TEXAS has been very upfront and honest with burt and his family.  coach strong certainly does not deserve the circus scenario that is currently ensuing.
