2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Kyler Murray's measureables--

17 years old

At the NFTC in Dallas -- 5-10

At The Opening -- 5-11, 178

Keeping the band together

If Murray goes to Texas, then he will likely get to play with Lodge, Newsome, Soso, Malik, McNeal, and Mack

If Murray goes aggy, then he gets to play with Kirk.  Maybe/probably he gets Mack
But he does not get Malik or McNeal.  He does not get Lodge.  He does not get Newsome.  He does not get Soso

My eyes have been reading the posts since last evening about Murray and my brain keeps saying don't eat the Murray recruiting cheese... you will get sick and be disappointed.  If Murray does indeed flip this will be one of the biggest flips for UT that I can recall in a long time. Not only for the single flip of Murray but also the potential flip / pickup of several other key recruits associated with him.

If Murray flips, the cataclysmic aggy meltdown will be MOST tasty!! :D

LET'S RIDE YA'LL!!!

Lucci is supposed to have admitted in an aggy chat -- "ags are working against a lot of momentum right now".

That's what I hate about some of the pay sites, their constant move to make things larger than they are to get eye balls to their sites.

If you guys read Higs, you know he intentionally writes poorly or crypticly

This was, if he is wrong, he can wiggle out later - "that's not exactly what I said."

Last night he was doing that again.

The best I can tell, he was not happy about Ketch's stuff and seemed to suggest Ketch may have been putting it all at risk, acting irresponsibly. To me, it seemed like he was trying to leave the impression that he had some of this info but prudently held it back.

Just a visual example of what our class is shaping up to be and what A&M is looking like if Murray fliips.

What I've enjoyed most in all this is what's not said. Strange as that may sound.
The players themselves, through social media, give plenty of clues and innuendos.
To that, a little insightful writing by those in position to do so ... provides necessary spark to the conversation.

I'm on the side that says we don't need to know everything -- to know what is sufficient to know. A little goes a long way....

Higs saying Ryan Newsome will not announce today.
(Supposedly Newsome's dad called someone at Texas last night and said announcement was going to be delayed)

edit -- oops. It's now back on

I wonder if the Newsome's called, like was said above, and Charlie said "OK, buuuuuut, we may not have any spots left by next week"?

You have to admit there have been a lot of ups and downs, some even extreme
There have been and I'm guessing there are more to come. The pilot has turned on the fasten seatbelt sign. Please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened for the remainder of the recruiting period.

Newsome seems like a thoughtful kid who is taking this seriously.  You can tell he has researched it well (he knows the offensive systems, the depth charts, how each team performed, who is returning on offense, the coaches).  He put a lot of time into this decision.

Once he commits, that's it, he is committed.  No flip flops for him.  Unlike some of these guys who seem to change weekly (or daily).

He is well aware his family wants him close.  But he definitely has appreciated the max effort UCLA and Mora himself have made recruiting him (Texas dropped the ball on Newsome for ~ 3 weeks).

He will be a terrific PR/KR and slot receiver for us or Bruin.

We will be standing to applaud a perfect landing?
