GAME WEEK – Gators come calling

Sydir Mitchell got a lot of snaps, and not just in garbage time. He was out there in the 1st qtr. He must have done the right things after his sideline blow up and Sark wasn't kidding about him having 2 really good weeks of practice. He seemed to hold strong at the point of attack, his first snap he caused a tackle at the LOS.

I noticed that too. He did alright when in there. Saw him get doubled and then made the tackle. That was good to see.

Ewers depth of target was estimated to be 8.8 this game. We had a lot of success with the horizontal passing game today but also connected on vertical passes (and 2 were on the money but dropped by Moore).

I'm tired of hearing Palmer say that Ewers is back. We expected this performance all year. georgia made him look like a big12 qb. If Ewers beats ark and a&m, then I'm convinced.
Like someone said after Georgia game ,they give blueprint how play Texas.

Anyone notice that Andre Cojo (sp?) got some action tonight at LT? He did pretty good. Looks good, trimmed up some.

I believe we had a starting d-line that had to sit the 1st half due to targeting at Vandy, so that's probably the reason for so many snaps in the 1st half.

Yes, Vernon Broughton. But those are not snaps that Sydir was getting in earlier games, especially once he got somewhat suspended after his sideline blowup.
