Bevo ready to take on Uga again
And now we're 6-0 and still ranked #1. Things get real this week as we welcome the #5 Georgia Bulldogs.
Georgia is not the potent offense that they were a year ago. So many weapons from last year are gone. Georgia has looked more human this year, struggling at times to dominate teams they should be dominating, such as Kentucky. Georgia got out of Kentucky by the skin of their teeth. Vanderbilt defeated Kentucky this week, by comparison. Georgia gave up 31 points to Miss State this week.
Nevertheless, Georgia will be the top offense and top defense that we'll play during the regular season.
Some other interesting games of note . . . . Miss State will host the aggy this week in what could be a trap game for aggy. Since the Texas game, MSU has been playinig good football. Another game I like is LSU visiting Arkansas. The pigs at home will be a tough game for LSU. Pittman is coaching for his job. A win over LSU would help quiet the talk.
Notre Dame vs Georgia Tech sounds like a good game. However, Tech QB Haynes King (Longview HS) was injured in this weekend's game. No info on whether he will play this week or not. But that could be the difference, IMO.
Nebraska at #16 Indiana could be a good game. Indiana is undefeated and Nebraska is playinig better football under Rhule. Still not sure what kind of team Indiana is, but we'll find out this week.
#6 Miami @ Louisville
Nebraska @ #16 Indiana
South Carolina @ Oklahoma
#7 Alabama @ #11 Tennessee
#12 Notre Dame at Georgia Tech
#24 Michigan @ #22 Illinois
Colorado @ Arizona
#8 LSU @ Arkansas
#14 Texas A&M @ Miss State
Kentucky @ Florida
TIEBREAKER – #1 Texas vs #5 Georgia
