I lost my youngest son, Brandon, 27, Saturday night. It was an accidental overdose and is under investigation for the possibility of Fetnynal in play.

Needless to say, I am a broken man right now. I'll need a little time before I can get my head straight again.

Brandon had no savings or life insurance. He was about to marry and had a daughter coming in a couple months. He was a big Longhorn fan (like me) and had been to a UT game with me there in Austin.

So we're trying to cover his funeral expenses during our down time of year. Any help you can lend would be appreciated.

Im so sorry, I can’t fathom what you are going through. Praying God’s peace and comfort for you and your family.
Hang in there brother.

If words could help, I would write a book for you, my friend.

When I lost my only child 26 years ago, I thought I had lost all purpose in life. I was confused about why God would allow such a beautiful child to be taken, and I was angry. But when I felt that I could not bear more, I asked God for help.

Looking back, He responded in so many amazing ways. I have no doubt that my daughter is in His care,  and knowing the joy she must have now, it would be selfish to wish her back, no matter how much I miss her.

I pray that you will find comfort in knowing that as your son loved God, He loves your son even more. Keep your heart open and speak to Him, SHA, He will hear and He will answer, because He loves you, too.

No words. I hate, hate, hate those who would poison our youth. May you find peace in the days ahead.

Prayers for you and your family Sir

So sorry for your loss. I have lost family members to addictions. It hurts terribly. You will see him again one day in heaven.
