This kid chose Jimbo and no OC over Kiffin.
I have no idea where Akana lands. There are supposedly two schools (Georgia and Texas) battling it out. OU continues to think they're in a good spot though that may just be some residual sooner retardation showing up in print.Awesome story. I can attest that everyone in Hawaii does know everyone. It's like a gigantic small town. As I mentioned, I have a golf buddy who is friends one of Lefau's relative and they apparently know everyone. He says Akana and Lefau will play college ball together. To his point, he never specifically said at Texas.
Watched the Manti Teo documentary and they emphasized how close both the Polynesian and Mormon cultures are. Everyone knows everyoneAwesome story. I would be tickled to get both. We need help on the edge. He's big time.

Seeing as Spencer played SDE (which is the equivalent to the Jack EDGE postion in P.K.'s defense) in High School & was being recruited by UT as a DT and that Akana is being recruited by UT as a Buck EDGE & off-ball LB by OU. I don't see how how u can say Akana is a definitive upgrade over Spencer when they played & project to completely different positions.I hope so. He's an upgrade from Spencer.
Spencer approached Houston first (his hometown). They passed. That should tell you something.
Akana is listed at 6'4" 225 lbs. He's got the height, he can put on the muscle. Nothing a good weight program can't fix.Seeing as Spencer played SDE (which is the equivalent to the Jack EDGE postion in P.K.'s defense) in High School & was being recruited by UT as a DT and that Akana is being recruited by UT as a Buck EDGE & off-ball LB by OU. If I had to choose between Spencer or Akana, I'd choose Spencer because of his size & frame. Meanwhile they're questions about Akana's size which is why OU is recruiting him at off-ball LB instead of at EDGE.
He’s gonna be in ??I’m thinking we may have pushed Spencer out because Akana is in

I guess you're going off of 247's scouting report, in which they admit Akana's listed size is unverified. You should also read on3's scouting report on Akana, which contradicts the 247 scouting report.Akana is listed at 6'4" 225 lbs. He's got the height, he can put on the muscle.
