I always have to chuckle that ever since P.K. was hired as DC, some UT fans can't get over the mental hurdle that there isn't really a big difference between a 2-4-5 nickel defense & and a traditional 4-2-5 nickel defense. Literally the main difference is the 4-2-5 uses 3-point stance DEs as the EDGE players, while the 2-4-5 uses stand-up OLBs as the EDGE players.
Those 2 positions are often interchangeable, which is why you see UT recruit both DE EDGEs & OLB EDGEs and you see PK run also run 4-2-5 & 3-3-5 looks.

A poster's report on the Melissa-SOC game
Melisa QB came into that game with 3400+ yards passing and 44 TD passes
Stat line against SOC was 3 for 14 for 28 yards and 2 picks. Had a 3rd pick negated by a penalty as well. So he completed 1 more pass to his team than he did to SOC defenders.
I don't remember him throwing a single pass to Malik's side of the field.
Billy Walton was a bad ass as well

Lmao. I spent half of yesterday wondering why ETH wanted Ewers to be a computer. It wasn't til someone replied with competitor that I realized he was saying competer. I find that if I turn off the lights and squint that I can understand him a little better

Yes the 30's language was quite different. Dude was a simi bad person and a joint was a bad place to be. The whole USA had different dialects time has changed this.I was 12 years old before I knew Damm Yankee was two different words. No TV no phones just radio.
