Yea, well Herbie cries on TV. I would think he would have higher expectations of himself.

Just going state one thing, Bijan had a career day 172yds and 3 TDs, but he still only had 9 carries.  He also had 3 rec for 51yds for a grand total of 12 touches for 223 yds and 3 TDs.  He scored every 4th time he touched the ball.

Take aways from game.

1 Texas has two excelent RBS. K. St. one

2 OL looked better with replacements.

3 Defense played very well could improve in fun stopage.

4 Best of all team played loose looked like a team should.

I was impressed with the freshman offensive lineman. Karic out there against one of the best pass rushers in the country did well. I saw Major get a bunch of good blocks too. It showed in the running game. How can you not love Derek? Playing with a bad ankle injury and got hurt. He could have took the easy way out and said my ankle is too bad but he played. That’s what you play for. You play for that name across your chest, you play for that guy with his hand in the dirt next to you. Derek is a lifetime Longhorn. I’d like to see him get well and come back. I think he can make a team in the NFL. I love the kid. I played offensive line so I know sweat dripping off the tip of your nose. Lineman play for those other 4 guys in the group
