Budreau, agree. IMO, if we could send the Ukrainians the arms to defend themselves, it would atleast place some doubt in the mind of Putin as to how far we'll go. That and stop broadcasting that we'll not use the military option.

Sirhornsalot, I have some questions about your previous post about "gold".  `I really appreciate discussions like this, and I have some thoughts about what you said, but I am not well versed enough to make an intelligent response.  I am going to do a little reading, and I will get back to you.  As you can probably already tell, I usually have a lot to say about a lot of things, but I do not want to say much unless I have some semblance of confidence in what I have to say.  Even if I have no idea what I am saying!  I love it when we can have discussions like this with mutual respect.  This is not common on the interwebz.  Maybe it is because a bunch of us here are Olden Fartes!  As far as I am concerned, maybe we need to have our own forum for topics such as this on HornSports.  Are you guys listening!!!

I don't know, I kinda like the fact that it can stay on the main board since we really don't "go there" very often here. This has been the ideal political thread, as far as how you'd hope it would go. It's reflective of the standard that has been set around here I think. Says a lot IMO.

Yea, be glad to answer the best I can. I'm no authority but this is something that caught my attention a couple years back and has grown increasingly disturbing in the time since.

There's a war going on against the US in about every arena except the battlefield and has been for some time. Gold is central to that.
