From what I've seen and heard this offseason, Parker Livingstone will be heavily involved with the offense. There is a video from yesterday's Coffee & Football where Manning throws an absolute strike on a a flag route to Livingstone who showed great speed and footwork. That play was indefensible unless the defense came up with a sack.

Something worth tracking this month is the audience that Ohio State is building for the Texas game with recruiting visits. They’re talking about over 100 2026 & 2027 recruits. We usually overlap in recruiting 5-10 elite guys.

Tech went very heavy in the portal. David Bailey was the edge we also wanted out of Stanford. We will see how it comes togethre.

OU has a lot of talent across the DL. It is the strength of their team and they should have a good defense overall. Big question for them will be their offense.

And I do think Texas has a chance to outplay the 9th place ranking.

OTF keeps lamenting the fact that CJ Baxter may not be ready, but we still have Wisner. My question is do we have replacement for Blue? Niblett?

No on Niblet. No one near as fast as Blue was/is.

Baxter isn't 100 percent and won't be for the OSU game. But at some point this fall he will be. He's a big back.

Clark is the one I"m excited to see. Hearing great things about him. Saw a photo the other day. His thighs are as big as my waist.

Simon is intriguing and could earn himself some PT. The other freshman needs a redshirt year.

I've read where opponents defensive players said they did not like tackling Baxter due to his size and aggressive style. They said the same thing about Bijan.

Blue was a rare combination of speed with enhanced football skills and a little size on him.

I hear Gibson has really improved. And Clark has returned with a vengeance.

The recent RB commit we got has similar speed to Blue, but is Bijan's size.

Arch is our fastest runner out of the backfield amongst the guys who will play heavily initially (Wisner, Manning and Gibson)

So glad to not play Ohio State at night. 11 am start

the next three out of conference opponents will be at 11 am, 3:15, and 7 p.m. Nice mix

That FLorida game start is not determined yet. Could be an afternoon game or could be at night. Get ready for the humidity Horns.

We're playing OU at 2:30 pn? Seriously? Thats a big change.

Starting times for the rest have not been determined yet. Could be afternoon games, could be night games. But the heat should subside by the time those games roll around.
