WEEKEND SERIES – Texas visits Kentucky

Bottom of the 11th,
Kentucky gets a leadoff single then a HBP by Duplantier. Burns is coming in now for Texas.

Doesn't look good in the bottom of the 11th. 2 on no outs. How many batters have UT pitchers hit so far in this series? Pretty crazy.

Top of the 12th,
That is the 2nd batter that looked like they beat the throw to 1st, but called out.

Tied at 4 heading to the bottom of the 12th

Looks like A Rod may still not be 100% healthy, Winfield replaced him.

Top of the 15th,
Mendoza with a 1 out single followed by Galvan getting a single. 2 on with 1 out. Gasparino is up. Another Kentucky pitching change

Bottom of the 15th,
Kentucky gets a leadoff single. Kentucky goes for a sac bunt and Galvan throws it into RF.

Kentucky wins 5-4

Abysmal offensive performance today
Lots of ugly numbers for both teams offense on Saturday.

We had 8 hits with 18 strikeouts while seeing something like 250 pitches.

Kentucky had 11 hits with 16 strikeouts while seeing something like 230 pitches.

The good news is that Georgia beat arkie, Auburn beat LSU, and Ole Miss beat fake ut. So, all 4 top teams lost.

Craig and Keith both said they saw the 1st baseman's foot off the bag when he caught it. Makes you wonder what the replay official saw?

Flores' called 3 strike was questionable per Craig and Keith.

Back to watching the game on TV now but I love their input because they aren't your typical homers.
I was listening to them while watching on TV. I can't stand these SEC announcers. Would love to have Greg and Keith in the booth for TV games; they were very fair and honest about the calls and play on the field when I had LHN. Craig and Keith are the same way fair and honest.
