SignUp Now!That's a shocker.Cook no longer with program? Man talented WR….but portal and stellar recruiting solves that.
Wish him well.
Anyone know what happened and why? I wonder if he was in the doghouse thus the reason he hasn't played much lately.Cook no longer with program? Man talented WR….but portal and stellar recruiting solves that.

From what I've been seeing, he was dismissed which is different than him leaving. Interesting development here."IT doesn’t feel the need to divulge the “locker room” aspects of this separation but it had been coming to a head for a while."
I assume he wasn't a "culture" fit.
He was dismissed. Staff has not specified why and I doubt they will. We can only specultae there was a problem, not only with his play, but his behavior.
I would assume this was more about his behavior, vs his play.
Bad play from a 5 star is something that can be worked on. Bad behavior , and or bad attitude are disruptive to the team culture and unity, so presumably not tolerated.
Well, he couldn't get more playing time even when Bond was injured.
Good speculation.I don't have any information, so pure speculation , but based on reporting that this has been brewing. My assumption is the issues were all or mostly based on his behavior, either not following team rules or somehow not buying into the team culture Sark works hard to build.
If it was just a performance thing, you would think he would continue to work to try to earn playing time, and then portal when the window opens at the end of the season if he didn't think he was going to make the cut for a significant role moving forward.
Another aspect of this is NIL. I assume him being a 5 star, that he had a descent NIL deal, I slso assume that goes away when he leaves the team.
This is pure conjecture, but reading between the lines so to speak, it seems from what OTF said is that this was an attitude problem. Younger players were passing him on the depth chart and he got frustrated and started thinking about the portal. His performance declined and I'm sure the coaches got on him and things just spiraled from there. Think on this, Sark would never dismiss a player for poor play. Something happened that turned the coaches off.I don't have any information, so pure speculation , but based on reporting that this has been brewing. The team was probably looking at a 5th or 6th seed in the NCAA bracket (64 teams) heading into the SEC Tourney. Arkansas likely a 1 or 2 seed so this is a win that could help with seeding. South Carolina is a likely 3 or 4 seed so would be another quality win to add to the resume prior to seeding.UT Women Soccer will play South Carolina in SEC championship game Sunday! Beat the hogs 2-1 in 2OTs. Gooooooooaaaalllll!!
