I've heard rumors that our postal delivery driver is a DEI hire who decides when or to whom to deliver. We are on a rural delivery route so it could be anyone.

Sounds like my mail carrier. His back-up tells me they struggle with rampant absenteeism so he can usually run two routes a day which he doesn't mind because he gets a lot of overtime as a result. Not to mention about every third package somehow gets lost in the system for an extra week or two before maybe being delivered.

I had to buy it at Walgreens. The good old post office said they delivered mine back in June but I never saw it. They suck in this county. People are constantly complaining about missing packages.

I had the same problem with mailing my oldest son Christmas and birthday gifts. They seldom reached their destination. My son explained that so many people are poor there and they steal your stuff. He lives between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN.

I get my mail, but my mailman is a first rate jerk. I've said hi to him many times. He never even looks when I do. I brought him some cookies when I saw him delivering my mail once. He declined the cookies (my wife made them). If someone is parked in front of my house, he won't deliver the mail. He won't do anything that will cause him to leave his seat. I've convinced he just hates life. lol
