Several prospects for portal in OL and DL. If a few spaces are needed.

I don't expect Catalon to return or play football again.

Brooks, Jordan, Muhammad are all solid to spectacular (Muhammad). In fact, I'd say Muhammad is the most talented DB we've acquired in some time. Now he has experience to go with all that talent.

And I like the DBs coming into the fold with the recruiting class. The kid of Louisiana could start as a freshman, IMO.

It looked like the freshman safety took a serious hit. The call for targeting was waved off, but he looked like he was hurt after that play.
Anybody heard anything on him ?

I remember that. I haven't heard the prognosis but I know he was really in pain with that shoulder. Hopefully, it was just a stinger.

That guy is going to be all conference for us one day.

VY would have faired well in todays game compared to when he came out. But he also didn't work or study hard enough, so that also did him in...

Ummm...VY led the nation in completion percentage his last year at Texas (regarding arm talent). He was NFL offensive ROTY and a Pro Bowler. To say Vince wasn't an NFL quarterback is ridiculous...

In my mind, VY is the best to ever play QB at Texas. I know the names I have to compare to, and I don't flinch saying that.

I agree with you.

Is it fair to say that Colt had a better career.... but Vince's Junior year is unparalleled? Before Vince's junior year, he was an incredible athlete / runner / leader. His junior year he became an incredible QB. The pass - run threat was seemingly unstoppable.

Same but Ewers has been good. He seems a little slow to read and hesitant at times, a couple of those sacks Saturday were on him. Some of the shorter passes he throws pretty bad at times as well. When you look at his stats though sometimes I wonder why I am so picky because he has done very well. Guess I just expected him to come in light it up and never miss a pass . In the end you cant argue with the results, 10-1 soon to be 12-1 at minimum

That part! While VY admittedly had his own maturity issues, Fisher did him no favors. It's tough on any player when the coach doesn't want you. The Titans owner demanded that the team draft Vince. Fisher didn't want him at all

Very difficult to succeed in the NFL when your head coach doesn't want you on the team. VY would have been a lot more productive with another head coach mentoring him. Someone like a Pete Caroll.

I agree! What's wild is the OC was Norm Chow who was OC at USC when VY beat them in the championship. I definitely agree that with different HC that Vince's NFL career could have been completely different (i.e. better)

Chow was probably butt hurt too because they wanted to draft leinart

Hamilton has him as 75% to Texas, and Wells says it's 65%.

I believe you mean Sweat and so were Colt and Manziel, I get that. Just trying to get an ideal on if this guy is underrated or not.
