The thing that was incredibly stupid was Stallions , and Michigan not creating more plausible deniability.

If they had worked through a booster that anonymously sent tapes to Stalions they would have probably gotten away with it.

I don't know what they will do to Michigan and Harbaugh, but I would assume starting next season they will incorporate the NFL fix that was implemented in 1994. i.e. add a speaker to the helmet of one of the players on the field which allows the play call to be sent in securely.

I think Stalions was ex-military intelligence guy. I bet if you wanted to cheat the microphone system bad enough, an ex-intelligence guy could intercept the signal. You might have to go to those cheat-sheets some QB's wear on their fore arms or belts.

Nope, they definitely have methods of encrypted voice that is mostly impossible to intercept. Kind of like when you encrypt a file, unless you have the cypher code the file is unreadable.
