"Too Early" 2024 NFL mock draft: Week 5
View attachment 6865
Sorry, I can't see Quinn going in the first round. He doesn't have the number of snaps. I really believe he needs another year to maybe crack the first day of the draft. If Quinn does declare for the draft this year, Nix and Penix Jr may go ahead of him.

Worthy's speed will help him but drops are a concern. He's got to show he can hang on to a ball more often than he has so far.

I agree and the ONLY reason he is listed as going to Seattle is because Geno's magic is gone, and they won't give Drew Lock a decent shot, if Seattle downs take him he will drop like a rock until someone is willing to take a chance on him

Not saying he will but the draft history is full of guys who had 1 good year in college and someone in the league fell in love with them. Every year, someone falls in love with a college prospect and takes them earlier than others would just for that reason. If he does, there are likely 3-4 QBs that would go ahead of him but he is still talented so I'd guess someone will take him in the first 3 rounds.

Anthony Richardson in the most recent draft. Talent wins out over experience in a lot of cases. Quinn has a lot in his tool box. More than most. NFL coaches know how to mold that. He'll be a better pro than college player

As long as you have people like Jerry Jones making draft calls, any Quinn Ewers in any draft is a candidate for the first round.

That's hypothetical. I don't know if Jerry actually realizes he needs a new QB yet. lol

Don’t forget Quinn is just a sophomore this year.
If he would stay till he was a senior you would see a whole lot better player, IMO.
The TCU qb last year was a senior, and he took a big step forward his senior year.
I think he will be a good NFL qb also.
Jerry could do a whole lot worse.
