Former Arlington Martin coach left for Nebraska to work with Rhule, and now resigns in less than a year after getting a DUI.

Freeze and Auburn doing more work.

Freeze learned how to NIL years ago at ole miss. Probably one of the reasons he got the gig

If I were Tech, I'd be pretty concerned about why he hasn't committed yet. Whats the hold up?

The hold up is – its Tech. And he's thinking about how he won't have much spotlight up there and after this year, won't play in many meaningful games. Beating UCF isn't very exciting.

I think the hold up with many high ranking recruits is likely $NIL$.

Once you commit it's less likely they will continue to throw money at you.

Realistically it's probably a sound financial strategy.

Tech outbid us on NIL. I think that's why they lead. He really has no other option unless some bigger school comes sweeping in later to offer the world.

It's not the education. Its definitely not the location. It's not the toned-down spotlight. And I don't want to think he's got Tech out front because his dad went there.

Hard to know , different strokes for different folks. I would assume that we continue to recruit him until he is signed.

If he really prefers TX , and it's strictly a money thing, then you have to wonder if we really are the Jones's when it comes to NIL.

I think he enjoys trolling too much right now.

Seems very clear that to get the best players you have to have a compelling pitch, and a very competitive NIL.

I guess we have to wait until national signing day, but so far it doesn't feel like we are doing enough in the NIL arms race.
