Keilan Robinson gets forgotten as well. He won't be the main guy but a nice weapon.

I think the portal success will look a lot different after this season. Isaiah Neyor, Adonai Mitchell, Catalon, Trill Carter, Gavin Holmes, and even Ryan Sanborn (punter) could all play major roles this year.

I think this portal class was the first time that Texas was approaching from a position of strength and not desperation. If we can keep bringing in portal players like this each year, it will only improve the strength of our roster.
Robinson was worth the take on his special teams play alone.

I agree with your assessment. I also think the turnover will be constant. We will keep recruiting larger classes and turn over the areas of need via the portal. It's the only way to stay competitive to get where we want to be.

Sark to the THSCA yesterday, said he will continue to grab a handful of portal but that HS recruiting will be the main focus of building the roster. I think this is the right approach.

Take a good number of HS players, some will work out as expected, some may be pleasant surprises and others will disappoint. Allow the underachievers to move on elsewhere and bring in portal players who have already proven themselves at the college level.

Have discussed class size. Need spaces to put them in.

Looking at depth chart there is 16 seniors. I belive around 6 can return. Going pro can be 2-4 so rest will be ? .

Several bottom of the roster guys leaving. Think Max Merrill, Sawyer Goram Welch, One of the DT who redshirted, a safety like BJ Allen or LTJ, etc.

Since none of us have any good insight into how each player that hasn't seen much action is developing, and will develop over the season, It's not knowable which guys will be viewed as expendable.

In a perfect world everyone lives up to the potential that the coaches saw when they were recruited, and no spots open up.

What will be interesting to me, is if some of the seniors want to return.Carter,Catalon or Collins. DT have been returning last couple of years.

That 4 named plus a couplemore.
