OU picks coming in for Jayden Jackson.
Being from Indiana, I think Ohio State has been presumed to be a possible leader for Jackson. But if he is not coming to UT I'd rather see him go to OU than to Ohio State. That is probably heresy here but so be it.

Update : (I added some of the general timelines for guys that don't have clear dates set yet)

Lots of decisions coming soon so I figured a post to help us keep track:

July 13th - Jayden Jackson (Ohio State vs OU lean)

July 14th - Selman Bridges (Arkansas lean)

July 20th - D'Antre Robinson (Texas Lean)

July 22nd - Corian Gipson (Strong Texas Lean, unless you ask Mike Roach)

End of July likely - TJ Lindsey

End of July/August - Brandon Baker, Wardell Mack

Before season/Fall - Kobe Black, Collin Simmons

Early Signing Day - Ryan Wingo (but also says he could commit any day now)

January AA Game - Dominick McKinley (but may commit before season)

Unknown - Danny Okoye, Zina Umeozulu (has slowed process a bit)

Who knows what will happen with him, but never thought we would be his pick. Robinson looks like a Texas lean. Get one of two of Lindsay and McKiney and we're good on the interior DL.
I think we have a good shot at TJ Lindsay and even a better shot with D'antre Robinson.

McKinley would be a take whether we get 1 or 2 of the above players.

Just curious as to why you both bolded and capitalized ou? lol

Holy Jesus!  I know I'm late to the party on this topic (since you discussed it earlier), but what the F is 247 doing to their rankings?  No way J. Gibson is a low 4* RB.  Not just Texas targets, but all targets. Thank God I trust the Texas staff's evaluations over theirs.

I noticed that too

I get the sense that Robinson is a silent. McKinley is not deciding til January possibly, so long game with him. We have a legitimate shot with Lindsay, but the earlier his announcement date the better for Texas.

Not sure if either ESPN or Rivals did, but both 247 and On3 did some re-rankings earlier in the week with some rather interesting results to say the least.

247 did drop Jerrick Gibson to #84 overall but still has him as the 2nd best RB nationally. In their system, he's still a mid to highish 4 star. On3 has Gibson at #117 overall and the 11th best RB. Rivals has him at #60 overall and 5th best RB while ESPN has him #31 overall and #1 RB.

The 247 Composite has Gibson at #48 overall and the #2 RB. The On3Consensus has him at #64 overall and the #5 RB.

I no longer take seriously the On3 rankings. They admitted that they rank based on potential, not the player they are now. So if you have the right size, right hand size, etc., you get good rankings even if you barely played last year.

NFL potential is not what the rankings are supposed to be about.

And 24/7 has done some strange things with theirs.

It would be sad to have to say the more reliable rankings are from Rivals, who historically aren't very good at this.

Melvin Hills is very underrated at 24/7 (3-star). He's a monster with a high end motor. At 270, he's not far from a suitable playing weight. Great instincts. Has an "it" factor with him. Uses his hands well and bull rushes well, too.

Great pickup for Bo Davis. In Louisiana no less.
Agree with this. I think he can play a role similar to Moro Ojomo and Vernon Broughton play. Where January and hopefully D'antre Robinson play the other DT spot like Coburn, Swift, and Murphy.

With 14 commitments recruiting should be close to beeing three quarters over.  Comments on what position is most needing commitments?

Offence 1 OT 2WRs plut one for one on WRgoing pro. Should wrsp up offence, defence a different story.

I believe Sark has made it known that he is taking 25 in this class. So 1 more gets us to 60%.
