TFB now losing confidence with Selman Bridges. Says Arkansas made a strong move during his visit there last week.

Wardell Mack could pull the trigger at any time.

So it would be down to Mack and Kobe Black as our CBs.

And Santana and Gipson?

On3 has revised their rankings . . .

COMMITS

Santana Wilson:  Dropped (from 90 to 95)

Jerrick Gibson: Dropped (from 43 to 117)

Aeryn Hampton: Dropped (from 145 to 159)

Daniel Cruz: Dropped (from 150 to 171)

Alex January: Dropped (from 217 to 231)

Freddie Dubose: Dropped (170 to 235)

TARGETS

Colin Simmons: Rose (from 5 to 4)

Micah Hudson: Rose (from 9 to ?

Dominic McKinley: Dropped (from 14 to 17)

Wardell Mack: Rose (from 28 to 19)

Terry Bussey: Dropped (from 16 to 37)

Brandon Baker: Dropped (from 30 to 40)

Kobe Black: Dropped (from 51 to 68)

Corian Gibson: Dropped (from 67 to 71)

Danny Okoye: Dropped (from 63 to 76)

Blake Ivy: Dropped (from 78 to 91)

Ryan Wingo:  97 (not sure where he was before)

Selman Bridges: Dropped (from 69 to 199)

D'Antre Robinson: Rose (from unranked to 272)

Zino Umeozulu: Dropped (from 191 to out of the 300)

Hunter Moddon (decommit): Dropped (from 121 to 278)

Also, in the new Texas Top 25:

- 0 current Texas commits

- 15 committed to other schools

- Of the 10 remaining, we really don't recruit 4 (Durham, Tatum, Poe, Williams)

- So we are recruiting a TOTAL of 6 guys (including Hudson and Bussey ... )

We know we are in the running for several elite recruits, many from outside Texas, some from Texas (Simmons, Black, Wingo, McKinley, Baker, Carter?, Mack, etc.) ... but we better land these guys.

On Bridges, TFB says he wants to be "the guy" in the CB class. He can be that at Arkansas. At Texas, he would be one of several top dogs in the class.

This is not how the burnt orange conspiracy works. When a kid commits to Texas, they are supposed to automatically become at least a high 4 star... I demand a recount!

The IT guys said take this as a good sign. Not much room on the boat, even though Bridges is darn good

Apparently, several services did some updates which they all do from time to time.

Just wished they had let me know since I did some updating to some data that I keep over the weekend. Oh well, gives me something to do when I'm not playing golf ?

Got be reason say that brother, share wisdom you know?
Our biggest issue in the past has been OL recruiting. Mack signed whoever 24/7 liked. The rest kinda crapped their pants in this realm.

But Flood is killing it. The #1 OL in Texas (according to On3) is the kid from Lindale. He's probably heading to Bama. But Texas didn't offer. I think maybe we saw some Brockemeyer in him and let it be.

Today, OL is a tremendous asset for us and every bit of that can be attributed to Tom Flood.

Skill positions – we have kids who want to come here just to be coached by Sark. That never happened under Mack, though Mack was an OC at one time. At QB, we have not one but two 5-stars and another who was a high 4-star.

Tashard Choice has brought in some of the best backs in the country. Kids want to play for him.

Our roster is stacked better than ever before, save maybe DKR's era where there were no schollie limits.

Here's aggy qb recruit. Goes from unranked to #58 in On3s rankings. I am losing respect for their rankings as today they admitted they were ranking based on NFL potential, which included friggin hand size for crying out loud.

This is supposedly the #1 OL in the country, according to On3. It's Bama and then some secondary type schools for him. Hard to compute the reasoning for the ranking.

This is a kid aggy beat out Vanderbilt and some P5 schools for. The jump here is eye-watering.

Yea, one of the things I've noticed lately with On3 is that it's not unusual for them to be the outlier in the rankings. Both ways. And sometimes, it's an extreme outlier.
