Some might disagree but everything we accomplished this year was because of Beard. He brought the guys in and prepared them for the season. Rodney inherited a squad and they did what they had prepared to do. 
Admin was basically forced to hire Coach Terry “Coach of the Year” because he didn’t screw up Beards team.
Terry, who has had a career of being average (that’s being nice) now has a four year contract at a program he wouldn’t even get an HC interview for under normally circumstances and now he’s the guy.

I hope you're wrong, however I'm afraid you may be right. Guess we'll see.

 
Now that the draft lottery is over and drafting positions are set, I still don't see Dillon Mitchell going in the 1st round.  Current mock boards and draft projections seem to agree with this.  I know he has looked good at the combine, but it hasn't moved him up into a guaranteed contract position as of now.

With all that said, does he come back to Texas if he stays in this spot?  Or does he go into the G League?  It's almost a guarantee that Hunter will be back.

Based on everything I've read, I think he's done at Texas and has no intention on coming back.

Did he ever put his name in the portal? I know there was some thought he could come back to college but with a different team - like Arkansas. But if he isn't in the portal as of yet I don't think that would be an option.

I could be wrong, but I don't think he ever entered the portal.
