TFB saying that while they put odds of keeping Worthy at 30/70 previously, Sark's meeting with Worthy went well and NIL negotiations are now taking place. They place odds now at 60/40 he stays.
I have given this a lot of thought and, after sleeping on it, here is my prediction about Worthy.

He will stay at Texas. Unless he doesn't.

PFF all-american 2022.jpg

PFF is about as good a third party opinion as anyone else and they have Bijan on their 1st team All-American list and J Ford as Honorable Mention; Duggan and Felix are not on the list at all.  ?

FIRST TEAM
RB Bijan Robinson, Texas
WR Xavier Hutchinson, Iowa State

SECOND TEAM
LG Cooper Beebe, Kansas State

THIRD TEAM
CB Josh Newton, TCU

HONORABLE MENTION
LB Jaylan Ford, Texas
PR Derius Davis, TCU

I heard it was the officiating crew that did Texas vs okie lite who did the voting. Nothing to see here.

B12 not having  Ford as DPOY is the same reason BR won't win the Heisman, the media won't give it to a player on an 8-4 team so they had to find someone from an 11-0 team
But isn't he from an 9-3 KST team that lost to the 8-4 Texas team?  Granted, he is in the B12 Championship game.

There it is, mow your own lawn and be in the game and you get the awards.

Good for him.  Hope he gets paid.  That said I worry about the direction college football now.  Basically free agency every year.

I agree. I think its getting worse each year. Like I posted the other day, 37% of the portal entrants will land nowhere except back in their home town. And programs are beginning to poach each other, basically recruiting players during the season. This is going very wrong. I hope wiser heads prevail.
