Coaching matters. That s 100% correct.Rest go not know but Texas and OU was a sell out then as it is now.

SignUp Now!100% accurate statement. Jimmy Johnson was exactly the right coach at the right time for that team. The coach won those super bowls and Switzer was fortunate to inherit JJ’s team. Everything fell apart after that and hasn’t been the same since.Part of the problem back then was football wasn't as widespread and popular as it is today and there certainly wasn't the financial incentive there is today.
Another part of the difference is simply a much, much larger population – everywhere. Whereas there was once only one, two or three studs on a team today there can be a dozen or so.
And lastly, coaching matters. It always will. Jerry Jones once said any coach could have coached the '93 Cowboys to the Super Bowl. He lives to regret that statement in no time.
Jimmy Johnson is who made those Cowboys what they were.
That's nutty.Jordan Matthews has committed to Tennessee
So somebody LiedThat's nutty.
Supposedly the family even went as far to tell the Texas staff there was nothing to worry about.
Clearly, and a gut punch for Coach Joseph who had that recruitment for months. So somebody Lied
If anyone is wondering, IT said Matthews' decision wasn't related to anything with Toviano. We're in good shape in the secondary part of the class. Just get Toviano and be done there.
Does make Toviano a must now. A lot depends if Watts goes pro. after season is over. We're in good shape in the secondary part of the class. Just get Toviano and be done there.
True, but you win some and you lose some. Texas pulled the rabbit out of the tOSU hat last year with Brooks...soClearly, and a gut punch for Coach Joseph who had that recruitment for months.
All right, let's give this a shot.Love this analysis. Can you post your results - I know you did share at least some of the info previously
