Totally agree. Wonder what happens if the BOR of UC and Newsome stall or keep UCLA from leaving in '24. Especially, if USC leaves and the B10+ decides to take Oregon instead. No offense to the others in the PAC 10+, but none of them are viewed the same as USC and Oregon in the current football landscape.
Washington also lifts your GPA compared to Oregon. But Oregon has moved up in recent years. Remember Phil Knight is in his 80s. Does the money spigot keep pouring when he's no longer running Nike?
This reminds me of the joke when aggy moved to the SEC. The GPAs in both the SEC and Big 12 went up.
They have to say that to keep leverage. I seriously doubt they stay in the mess that will be the big12 until 2025.

Not necessarily true. The conference always has the right to expand. UT and OU are just two votes.
I believe this is correct. As teams move in or out the GOR that the conference has then can be redone by ESPN and/or Fox depending upon who comes in and who leaves. Due to the value of the team being a bigtime tv viewing team, i.e. Texas, USC, blow u, or Clemson. As compared to a Cal, Kansas, and/or Wake Forrest. Yes, I do know that they have had some good teams, but they aren't like the others.
Yeah, the rumor is NBC will contract with the Big 12 for either T1 or T2 media rights. These games will be featured when ND is on the road and as lead-ins for ND home games.
