What’s his issues at Alabama? Some off the field trouble?

I honestly don't know what ultimately did him in at Alabama, but Saban was open about him having more than one chance.

I understand why you want him. But I don't want anyone who is going to mess up team chemistry. If you have a player who doesn't feel he needs to follow rules, you'll either dismiss him or let him get by with it, which will eat away at respect, team-wide.

Sark would need to have a serious come to Jesus meeting with the kid and make certain things understood before I'd sign on. I just don't want someone else's problem.

Nick Saban doesn't just cut the most talented WR in his class for no reason.

247 had a few transfer updates this afternoon...

-they still have DE Ochaun Mathis trending to Texas after Nebraska rolled out the red carpet on his official visit to Lincoln over the weekend, and he should be making a decision shortly after his trip to Austin for the spring game.

- Texas does have interest in LB Caleb Johnson from UCLA, and they don't anticipate a return to Texas as a problem since he was recruited by the previous staff.

- the staff is attempting to set up a visit with OL Amarius Mims from Georgia despite some chatter that they wouldn't look for transfer OL due to the 2022 class they signed.

I don't know enough about Billingsley's off-the-field rep at Alabama, but I know he wasn't nearly as comfortable with O'Brien's offense after Sark left.

According to this article, Mims' decision was pretty much based on wanting to start.

No, Saban didn't suspend Billingsley, nor did he kick him off the team.

That would be a huge TX pickup.  I read somewhere that Pitman was his recruiter at Georgia,  so I would guess Arky could be serious competition.

I'll be shocked if Mims doesn't go to Arkansas, but Texas' taking care of its OL through NIL money could be a factor.

I would assume he did , and since he never played under Pitman, that might not be much of a factor like I was thinking. 

He will have lots of suiters, it will be interesting to watch.
