This team better figure out it's identity and who the big dog is soon. Our offense for long stretches especially the last 6-7 minutes made me think I was watching a shaka smart coached Tx basketball team.

Baylor, iowa state, west virginia, oklahoma all look for real. Yikes.

ou beating Arkansas like they did was surprising and yep, they appear to be real. Baylor is the team to beat in the Big XII.

Texas won big last night. Not a surprise as the opponent left their best player at home due to some sort of issue.

Sad, to hear that Lance Blanks dad, Sid Blanks passed away.  Great guy to lose.

The offense is still lacking in some areas.  I wish they would go to the high/low post with Allen at the high post and any of Bishop, Mitchell, and/or Disu at the low post. Keeping in mind that if it's Bishop have 2 guards, one at the baseline in one corner and the other at the top of the wing at the 3 point line with another guard on the other side that is either Askew or Carr to dripple in for a mid jumper or to throw out for a 3 pointer.  Other wise you have Mitchell or Disu able to throw out to the other or allow Allen to dribble penetrate for a mid jumper while still having 1 guard in the corner and the point guard on the other side to drive if need be.

Disu showed that he can be a shot blocker when needed as he blocked a dunk attempt with no foul. Hopefully he has no set backs and keeps improving and the defense and offense get better with him as they gel more. 

They get Stadford on Sunday on ABC. They should win easily.  But if the guards shoot poorly then who knows.

It was interesting that Beard changed the line-up for the game. Maybe he needed to get the players attentions to play better overall.

Turned on the Texas vs Bama St game and was shocked to see St ahead 16-4, that is not a misprint. At the time, it's 18-9, St.
