Steve Sarkisian named head coach at Texas

Word is that Arnetts buyout is actually 2 million so that’s why he’s not being offered these jobs. 

 
Bama was paying Sark 2.5 millionper year....a 2 mill buyout seems cheap if Arnett is a top level coach. We might not have make good coaching picks lately, but ...We are Texas...we damned sure know how to spend money....

We actually have a bunch of money but we don’t spend very much of it. Someone on here but out a deal of which athletic programs spend the most and we were way down the list. We make the most though. Nana spends way more than Texas

My friend in the UT athletic Dept just told me that a he expects Houston Texans offensive assistant Denarius McGhee to join the staff in some capacity, possibly as an analyst.

But I'm pretty sure that an assistant leaving for a head coaching job wouldn't trigger a buy-out.   So there probably wasn't a buyout for Sarkisian...  and we do know how to spend other people's money.

We sit around discussing how much smarter we are than the coach when we are losing and talk about how smart we were hiring the coach when we win.  Talking on a message board is great fun.  (well...  it makes losing a bit more bearable)   

 
Not sure where to put this but 2 names up for the Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach job: 

Ryan Day and Lincoln Riley.

Please let one of those two take that job!
