Sam is not the real issue here today. It was almost like Tom Herman let his ego get in the way. Look at the play calling. There wasn’t the same focus on throwing as often. The tempo wasn’t the same. It’s almost like Herman didn’t like the praise Yurcich was getting. This was a lot of Herman’s power spread. And Ash’s defense looked terrible. So many missed tackles. So much open grass. No fundamentals. Tom Herman cannot coach, he cannot motivate his team & cannot make the right hirers. He’s looking more and more like he’s not the guy for the job.

The defense looked bad, but did anyone expect a perfect game today ... with 2 new coordinators who didn't get a spring or regular cadence and ONE pre-conf game?

Plus remember how many wanted that 4 man rush.... We're seeing how many with their hands down aren't as important as the scheme itself.

Dude HBU scored 33 against them. If we didn’t score a lot against them. It would be a travesty. I didn’t say anything about the rush. I said bad tackling and fundamentals.
