I wonder how TV contracts would mesh out, too. IF Texas played SEC, I wonder how ags would feel about the Longhorn Network, especially since they used that as a reason to leave Big 12 (and declined to play against Texas when Tx AD contacted them about playing). Then again, I wonder how ACC and SEC feel about the Longhorn Network and likewise. Studies have shown that more wealth is created during recessions (and crisis). This could be a big opportunity for some teams and conferences (or new conference).also I’m guessing traditional football factories like tOSU, Notre Dame and Nebraska really would try to figure out a way to play a season? I see legal issues with conference and TV contracts though
Who cares?! People should have the right to expose themselves if they want to watch a dang football game. I’m tired of this scaredy cat crap controlling what everybody does. I’ll say it again. If you’re scared, stay home. And a mountain of criticism if there is a surge in Covid cases after a few weekends.

For people who are just worried about themselves, you're absolutely right. But I believe that the thing people fear most is passing it on to people they care about.Who cares?! I don’t disagree with the basics of what you’re saying. However those people who use their right to expose themselves inevitably wind up exposing some who do not want to be exposed. That’s the basic definition of epidemic.Who cares?! People should have the right to expose themselves if they want to watch a dang football game. I’m willing to chance it on a virus that has an extremely high recovery rate and an extremely low death rate. As far as passing it on to others I can quarantine at that time. This holing up and hiding crap shouldn’t be pushed on folks that don’t want to. I hope all the college athletes decide they want to play and do so.For people who are just worried about themselves, you're absolutely right. If they don’t wish to be exposed they can stay home. It’s really simple. If you don’t want to be exposed don’t expose yourself to that possibility.I don’t disagree with the basics of what you’re saying. You hearing any hints as to who the supposed new potential commit, upper tier, unexpected kid may be? Offense? Defense? O-Line?nothing eminent
LJ RBYou hearing any hints as to who the supposed new potential commit, upper tier, unexpected kid may be? Offense? Defense? O-Line?
TFB says the more immediate commit is not LJ. Saw the Crystal balls today on LJ, which is awesome sauce btw, but apparently there is a highly coveted, high tiered prospect that is about to verbal to us that is being kept very tight lipped....which is good. TFB board broke it, but thankfully isn't releasing the name prematurely.....which makes my question to SHA kinda stupid.LJ RB
A list of names that would qualify:TFB says the more immediate commit is not LJ. Its supposed to be some one committed some where else I believe so you can eliminate a few of those.A list of names that would qualify:
JoJo Earle
Quay Davis
Savion Byrd
Clayton Smith
Landon Jackson
Tunmise Adeleye
Marcus Burris
Shemar Turner
What other names would qualify as top tiered and had interest in Texas?
Can't be. LJ isn't going to announce for another couple months, at least. He still wants to take visits. But yeah, we're in great shape with him now.LJ RB
