****Texas Baseball vs WVU Game Thread SU 12 PM LHN****

“You want to score there, and it’s tough to put back-to-back hits against him. But just by his position I should have held him.”

Then why the hell didn’t you?

I’m happy he admits his mistakes but I’m tired of the mistakes. He’s been as bad this year at game management as the team’s performance.

And if he doesn’t recruit better we’re not going to get better.

I have to believe he is pressing just as hard, (if not harder,) than some of the players are.

I agree Joey. Maybe sometimes he panics. I have no other explanation for some of the dumbassery I’ve seen him do this season.

One of the things about Henley that drives me batty is his approach when he gets baserunners on.   He tries to nibble around the zone.  You're a weekend starter.  Attack the zone.  Win the AB.  Don't nibble with your pitches.

B3

Don’t know who should be playing short but it should not be Hibbler.

He has a rag arm and double clutches most throws. You would think that could be coached out of him. You would think.

If you recall, Reagan started out at SS this season, but as a frosh had trouble dealing with the position.  I think he may be better suited for the spot than Hibbeler right now, if for no other reason than to give a different look for Hibbeler.

Well, you think so and I think so, but obviously Pierce doesn’t.

Pull his ass now.
You were spot on, double clutch.  That's a habit.  Probably one he's had for years.  Will take a lot of work to change that.

Guess it's a good thing Coach didn't pull him.
