I’m ready to see our run game improve dramatically next season. Here is a thought... De’Gabriel Floyd playing some running back like he has in high school. Who wants to tackle that in the pass happy  oh 12? Oh my...

“The biggest thing was that I just had to trust the offense that I’ll be playing in,” Cain told BON. “Penn State has already established their running culture. I love Coach Drayton and Coach Herman, but I just had to make that I’m going with a consistent offense that’s going to feature me in running the ball and that’s why I did it.” -Cain

Exactly why backs will be hesitant to choose us...

Yup, no consistent running game outside of Sam using his legs

Ingram only had 4 carries in the OU game for 7 yds. Never really got him involved. Tre was running decent that day. Penalties just killed too many drives and extended too many on the other side of the ball.

True on the penalties,  but like you said,  Ingram was never really involved.   That was Cain's point.

Is someone willing and able to provide a list of grad  transfers and or JUCO prospects Texas is legitimately interested in?

Many think he has a real shot at meaningful playing time at LB.  I highly doubt there will be any cross training for Floyd.

What's going to make or break next year is LJH and Johnson. We need at least one of them back next year to be the feature WR. Will also need Duverney to step up be a true WR2.
Duverney hs steped up. Need a QB that can find and hit him when he is open.

I think we’re fine at QB for the next two years.  And probably beyond.

LJ, CJ and DD are all studs. Duverney does not miss. He never has. Like two drops. That is huge. The three of them next year should wreck shop.

To Eastexhorn's point, and credit, Sam did miss a wide open Duverney several times this past year.

Edit note:  I still believe Sam is our QB until he graduates.

I was highly critical of Sam year 1.  I’m drinking the koolaid now. Point taken though.
