No way the sec lets the aggys play Texas.....
Disagree...I think they would allow it depending on how we look down the stretch.  ESPECIALLY if Aggy is playing "well" (read better than expected).  Their unfounded arrogance and belief in all things SEC & Jimbo will have them believing they can win;  their delusions of grandeur has them imagining the recruiting windfall that could come their way. None of this is gonna happen of course but it's Aggy so whatever...

Wish you were right, but don't see the $ec allowing it. Agsy is only able to sell one thing, the $ec. They can claim their 7-5 record is better than Texas 9-3 record because of how tough their conference is, wether true or not. Some recruits believe it and sign on to play in the sec more so than playing for agsy. Losing to Texas takes that illusion away. Not hapenning.

BUT what if they were to win?  Idk, it makes more sense for them to play us than it does for them not to imo.  But I'm a rational thinking human being.  And Aggy, of course, is not...

Agree...This is all about money. If for example, UT went to a possible Bowl matchup with serious injuries to where the aggies would be a big favorite then the SEC may decide it's worth the risk to continue their SEC propaganda with a win over UT.

The SEC knows how to make decisions to make themselves look good. Like there practice of SEC teams scheduling powder puff team at the end of the year to help SEC teams in the polls.

I agree with everyone else that the SEC would decide that it's not worth the risk otherwise.

Until we play the aggies again then I will have to live off my memories.

The SEC has nothing to gain by pitting A&M and Texas and everything to lose. The Aggies were a "sure win" in the last game we played them. On paper, they should have won. Guess what. The game is played on the field. No, it doesn't matter who is favored or what the records are. This game would be an all out, smash mouth, hit them while they are down, then hit them again (you can only get 1 penalty assessed) type of game.

The SEC has everyone brainwashed. A win means nothing but "yeah, we told ya so". A lost breaks the illusion.

NEVER play aggy anytime, anyplace, for any reason. They left. They don't deserve the right to play UT ever again. May they rot in h*ll covered in festering sores.

Disagree...if Aggy can establish any type of "perceived dominance"  it opens tremendous inroads for recruiting to both A&M and the rest SEC.  A&M has way more to gain from the match-up than Texas ever will...should they win

This is all a moot point. We will be in a New Years bowl game... aggy will be lucky to be playing in December.
