Is everyone is Austin high or something?  Herman looks giddy about tonight.  Tulsa won 2 games last year.  This will be a nightmare season. 

Herman is either a good actor or completely delusional.

I understand why Ingram was not in there if he was injured.  I thought Watson played well, but I still dont think our Oline did anything great this game.  I think the RBs did well in spite of the Oline. 

In all honesty, I didnt think Sam played a bad game.  I thought he a lot of good reads and checks.  He was efficient, but not extraordinary.  

I'm curious why Cook is not getting play instead of Boyce. He is a physical corner that puts pressure on a WR.

Thought the same about the OL. They did what they were supposed to in pass protection since Tulsa only rushed 3.  At least Sam didn't force many throws tonight into double or triple coverage.

Small thought but what's the point of using Roach out in space? Completely wasted spot/resource when they do that? Put him on the line to rush!

We’re taking too many chill pills and losing ground with game changing recruits. Maybe the whiskey has me a little bit more on edge than I should be. Losing this young man right now is bad. He has close ties to Shepherd. We might lose him next. I think this is a big deal.

Hadn’t heard Ingram was injured. That may explain his decreased playing time better...still think D Young needs more carries as a heavy back to mix things up...and to avoid Sam getting pummeled trying goal line sneaks.
