It’s a gut punch no matter how you look at it. “Take a chill pill” did you just watch what Texas football is? Holy hell, it gonna get better by 2020?

Herman said this off season that his number one concern after QB was replacing Malik and Poona. I was surprised that it was more of a concern over OL.

The first game that I saw Todd Orlando coach was the UH vs SMU game since there was talk that Herman would be our next coach. The UH defense could do nothing to stop Chad Morris offense. I found out that his defense had three players out. It looks like our defense is not going to be a the same level as last year.

I know it sucks that Tulsa put 21 on the board, but we need to let the season play out first before going into panic mode about recruiting.

Everything is a big deal at this point... nothing is small. The team is trash and the coaches are HORRIBLE and I don’t know how that wouldn’t be cause to panic.

Was at the game,  very disappointed in the play calling and the personnel.  Ingram is obviously the superior back, kicks ass and then disappears to the bench.  With that said Watson did have a good game, but why not run with the better back?  Freshman can be better than upperclassmen at times.  Third and short does not call for a 50 yard bomb to the end zone.  Third and 7 does not need a crappy tunnel screen or any type of screen.  Throw the damn ball beyond the sticks...it’s a simple concept.  First and goal inside the 5 should result in points.  This has been a problem with play calling and execution the last two seasons with Herman.  Remember when Cody Johnson would barrel in from inside the 5 for lots of TDS?  Why not let D Young be that guy?  Not going to waste more time or money attending more games this season.  Tired of the same old song and dance.

Collin Johnson was non-existent.  Either he isn’t being targeted or is being double covered this year?

I understand why Ingram was not in there if he was injured.  I thought Watson played well, but I still dont think our Oline did anything great this game.  I think the RBs did well in spite of the Oline. 

In all honesty, I didnt think Sam played a bad game.  I thought he a lot of good reads and checks.  He was efficient, but not extraordinary.  

I'm curious why Cook is not getting play instead of Boyce. He is a physical corner that puts pressure on a WR.
