August 31st. That’s what I found when I looked it up the other day

  Texas coach;  "Hello, Mr. (recruit).  Did you watch the game this morning?"

  Leal, et.al.;   "Yes, sir, I sure did!  Do you still have a spot open for me?   

p.s.  This is after ags lose to NWST tonight.

Aren't we supposed to be getting a commitment or two soon? I thought I remember hearing Sept 1st as a date. I am seeing come CB's pop up today for us on Derrian Brown RB out of Ga and Catalon S out of Mansfield Tx.

Could this be the two Shhhhhh's we are all waiting on?

I’m not going to say No on the 2 you mentioned but the 1 shhh for sep 1st is David Gbenda. And TFB said the hold is is from the folks making his video. Then went on to say it’s not them, there videos are always on time lol: I believe when Brown comes to his OV that’ll be icing on the cake. My theory says Gbenda, Owens, Brown. Our next 3 commits.

Just natural part of recruiting. He decided to slow things down, so the staff did too. Texas is still very much involved.

Yeah, he looked fantastic, but what can you do about it.  He chose another school because of family and home town ties that Texas couldn't compete with.  Good luck to the young man and that's it.
