Filiaga's Texas visit this weekend may be an OV

– Jarrett Stidham: I spoke with a source close to JUCO QB and former Baylor QB, Jarrett Sidham and was told that Tom Herman has reached out to Stidham. It does appear that Texas is interested but I’m uncertain about where that will go.

I am told that TAMU might not be able to take Stidham and Stidham would prefer to stay in-state so if Texas were to pursue perhaps it would work out. – (Super K)

While i hope we get some veteran insurance at QB. I would feel for boo if he loses the job. He did well considering all the coaches allowed him to throw was hitches and go's

If it happens Jesus Christ Urban Meyer will have Baron Browning, Marvin Wilson and J.K. Dobbins smh
Having a top 10 perennial program will do that.

Somehow we think its about eating momma's gumbo or some shit.

I doubt this will be a good recruiting season compared to Charlies last second pull's but I would rather have wins in football season then eventually February will be fun as well.

Yup when we start winning it'll translate over to recruiting in February

Does anyone know if we ever even offered Avery Davis from Cedar Hill?

I went watched Cedar Hill lose tonight. But Davis put on a show for Cedar Hill.

He threw for 463 yards and 4 TD's while rushing for 109 yards and 2 TD's.

Rambo caught 3 TD's with 284 receiving yards. He was impressive and I know we offered him.

But Avery looked better. He was the one throwing the ball.

No he does not have an offer.

Watched the Desoto/Cedar Hill game. Amazing! Avery Davis was impressive but he wasn't Shawn Watson who had 300+ passing 3td, 100+ rushing 3tds. Charleston Rambo stood out the most to me. And Cameron Buckley was catching td passes witb a freaking cast on his hand! IMO neither qb was as impressive as Heard was in high school. And considering we have him on campus, I wonder how he could develop if coached up? We need to get Rambo!!!

Rambo was a stud, but Davis was awesome. I saw Heard play also. I personally think Davis was better.

I did find out that Herman and McGuire are friends. Herman hasn't reached out about a job, but wouldn't be surprised if he does.

McGuire might be inquiring about a college coaching job as the head coach. I promised not to tell what school, but it is actually a possibility. Not sure it would pay what an assistant at UT would, but he would be in charge of a college program.

Should be interesting to see what happens now that Cedar Hill is out of the playoffs.
