Bagging their ace recruiter is a tremendous step in the right direction. And also how often are tight ends used in Herman's system?God I hope so. That would be a huge get for us!
Bang. Get him signed and let the dog off the leash on the elite kids in state.Just posted it to the update thread, but I'm hearing that Tim Brewster is close to being wrapped up. Brewster is Florida State's ace recruiter, and he obviously has some skins on the wall from his time here under Mack Brown. I'm also still chasing some OC news.
Honestly I'm not real sure. I'm not getting a lot from people I speak with.Give us a hint on the OC you are hearing about. What conference is the guy you are hearing about from?
Didn't Florida State have a lot of Texas kids in recently for an official visit? I would bet Brewster was the main guy on that one. Have a feeling one of the Longhorns position of wealth (LB) might suffer this year with Browning and Hines as EES and Levi Jones out of the picture now. Any chance either of the first two rethink it now?Bang. Get him signed and let the dog off the leash on the elite kids in state.
All of the elites visited for the Clemson game. Browning, Little, Okudah, Wilson etc.Didn't Florida State have a lot of Texas kids in recently for an official visit? Alabama just got another LB commit today so Browning probably to tOSU which stinks, I'll be glad to not see them around these parts anymore.Didn't Florida State have a lot of Texas kids in recently for an official visit? We'll, if Hamm says Texas is not an option then that tells me there is hope. I can't count how often he is so wrong.Alabama just got another LB commit today so Browning probably to tOSU which stinks, I'll be glad to not see them around these parts anymore.
Hammster over at gagem said Texas is not even remotely an option for Hines so take that for what it's worth coming from that clown.
I could definitely see Traylor ending up at A&MIf Traylor is the odd man out, I hope he doesnt end up at a big 12 opponent. He is killing it in east texas..

He loves his kids. His kids walk through walls of him. He would quickly be one of if not the best recruiter out there. He is also respected by other coaches. Joey is a great dude. I have had many conversations with him. He is genuine as they come. He's among my favorite coaches in the state, and he will be a nightmare as a recruiter.
I agree 100%IMHO....
The defensive coordinator is far and large the most important hire.
Big 12 is no joke.
