Tangentially related -- the LHN should have broadcast the last round of the NCAA mens golf final

It was the perfect event for that network

Texas v. the Ducks

We were like Monty Python's Black Knight -- down a man, a couple of our other golfer's were missing limbs, but we still almost won the thing

It was very dramatic, but it wasnt even on LHN (bumped by some key demographic infomercial)

It was televised on the Golf Channel so it was probably a case that they couldn't televise it contractually.

IMO, they should have arranged to cover it

One round of an NCAA third tier event?

Could not have been expensive

Not to mention they have the budget for it

If nothing else, they should have foreseen the possibility and bought an option

If they are not willing to pick up something like that for its target audience, what's the point of it all?

I am willing to bet they made zero effort to do that

That thing is on auto-pilot

Anyway, I am off on another tangent
