Notre Dame is coming to town!

At second glance, my last post appears a bit arrogant.

There's a lot that can go wrong on ND's side.  Make no mistake.

I meant that it's an exciting matchup, that's all.  There's a load of talent on both sides, and coaches on UT's side, that are unproven.  That's all that I meant from the post.

It's going to be a contest.  We're not delusional around here...

That's Max Redfield, gentlemen.  Starting free safety that was looking excellent in practice.  Also some depth was in that car at LB.  A freshman wideout as well.

It just got a lot more interesting for our upcoming game.

In case you are wondering, those 5 players that were in that car are done.  You'll never see them in a ND uniform again, as student affairs will likely expel them from school.  There will be no first half suspension/slap on the wrist for crap like that...

"Senior safety Max Redfield, redshirt freshman cornerback Ashton White, freshman wide receiver Kevin Stepherson, sophomore running back Dexter Williams and sophomore linebacker Te'von Coney were each charged with possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. ". Cops charged senior Notre Dame cornerback Devin Butler with felony battery to law enforcement

I think you will see ND let Kelly handle the punishment which we all know will not be anything that might impact ND chance of winning.

Butler's charge will be dropped, is my guess.  He's out against Texas anyway, as he has a hurt ankle that is healing up.

The others are up a creek.

Now you are backtracking. Why would Butler's charge be dropped? And since you said he would be kicked out of school what different should that make?

You're used to these other schools that you habitually play.

Kelly has nothing to do with their punishment.  I'm sure that, if he did have say, those kids would be sitting out the first quarter against UT and that's it.  Ala Saban and Sumlin style...

These 5 dudes are in purgatory now for the next 12 months, as Student Affairs has them.  Redfield will never see the inside of ND stadium ever again as a player.  The others are looking at a mountain to climb, certainly, that will take an eternity to overcome.

This has happened a lot under Kelly's watch.  Many of us domers are sick of it.  Just because you win 9 games per year does not give you license to tarnish Our Lady's program...

Do you guys want him?

Hell, no

We have a disciplined program built on core values that's about to turn the corner, starting September 4th. \m/

Sounds like those guys are sec ready ðŸ˜
It sure does.

How in the hell are our players beating the drug tests, is what most of ND nation is asking ourselves right now.  They test for THC, don't they?

Makes me sick that ND has a TCU feel about it this morning...

I predict that Kelly has a short shelf-life after yet again another transgression...
