Because Eboh went to Stanford? Thats a lot of pressure to put on the kid.If Strong does not win in 2016 the UT program is going to lose entire decade. Like I said we are back in the 80's/90's era.
No the fact that he is another Texas kid who may leave the state. I remember when Strong was hired he said. "We need to close the borders" Well he has not done a good job of that yet.Because Eboh went to Stanford? Thats a lot of pressure to put on the kid.

Texas is always going to lose kids to Stanford - you can't close the borders on those kids. Its the ones like Jordan Elliot and Greg Little that we should be disappointed/pissed off about. No the fact that he is another Texas kid who may leave the state. Can I assume you also believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible? Strong's done an excellent job of recruiting. Expecting no Texas recruit to leave the state because of Strong's stated his DESIRE to "lock down the state" is plain silly. No the fact that he is another Texas kid who may leave the state. WTF does this even mean? But lets talk about recruiting. Yes Strong will will finish with a good class. But lets get real it won't be elite., It will probably be in the 12-15 ranges possible 10th depending who we finish with. I am truly amazed how low Texas fans have set the bar for Strong. Strong is getting paid top 8 money and we should expect elite results in every area of the program for that. Including recruiting and wins. Hell most Texas fans are excited about him getting us to 7-5 or 8-4 next yr. Unreal. Can I assume you also believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible? 36 players on the Hornsports top 50 are currently committed. 12 are going out of state so far. Yes that is a little concerning.. Texas does not have one committed in the top 10. Yes that is concerning. Texas has 2 kids committed in the top 35. yes that is concerning. Can I assume you also believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible? Not one of those school listed have ever won a national championship. You made my point. Lots of UT fans have settled for a middle of the pack team. I prefer to be in the Bama, FSU, Ohio State conversation. Also here is a good article on rankings and stars. There was a reason Bama & Clemson where in the finals and why they crushed OU and MSU. THE DATA IS CLEAR.Lol guys, rankings don't mean shit, it's all about development and coaching , I thought you guys would've learned that by watching Connor Williams and Patrick Vahe play last year. The fact is that K-State, TCU, Baylor, Oregon, Arkansas, Oklahoma State and schools like that never have the top recruiting classes but they are consistently competitive because they have coaches that do a good job of developing their kids and putting them in positions to succeed. So you guys are wasting your time talking about rankings, because they don't mean anything. Only think rankings do is give fans bragging rights
Who might that be?And literally every credible analyst in college football believes that Texas is on the right track and will be back very soon
