First I would like to say I'm back, yes I know I'm like a snow bird. But more importantly, I just read an interview that horn digest had with Baylor OL commit Pat Hudson. He doesn't appear to be that solid to Baylor and has Texas high on his list of schools that he does have an interest in. BOOM shots fired by Strong and CO

Look squarely at those two uniforms, equally on his right as on his left.
This is why I want no changes in the uniform design.
Texas has one thing going for it that no one else on the planet has.
It has the Burnt Orange color!!!!

When you have the most unique color in all sports on the planet earth... you don't need no stinking badges... er, uniform alterations.
Seriously, it's the color that makes the thing work.
And the helmet all white with the orange 'horns' rocks beyond anything you could do for it.
And by the way,,, the tin foil horns on the helmet sucks big time. IMHO
I love the pure burnt orange jersey shown here. Perfect as it is.
If you are winning back to back to back championships and going past the 30-win streak set by the Worster Bunch... this uniform is perfectly fine.

Buechele's composite ranking jumped from 188 to 159 on 247. I expect him to keep rising.
Also, the Horns Digest interview with Hudson was pretty eye opening. He isn't "committed" based on some of his comments.

It is really great to see Charlie recruit outside of Texas like he is doing. Granted the state of Texas produces a lot of great players, but there are great ones outside our borders too. Other schools go all over the nation gathering in talent. It was stupid to limit The University by recruiting only Texas talent. Going out of state will not alienate the high school coaches if we go after the top Texas talent as we always have. The key is to land a few of these OOS studs every year. There is no reason Texas shouldn't be able to sign a few every year, since other schools come into Texas and sign our 5 * high school players. I really like that we have looked at California kids. I wish our baseball coaches looked more to California for players. They grow some good ones out there.
If Patterson wants UT to go global, we at least need to go national in recruiting.....I guess Charlie is going global too in that we signed an Aussie as a punter...LOL

You are misinterpreting copyright law.
OB has copyright in the recording of the interview and in whatever form they later transcribe it (in this case, a website).
However, they do not (and cannot) own the actual words out of Dobbins' mouth.
Further, what he said is a fact. Facts are not subject to copyright.
To insure there would be no issue here, I took the time to edit the material, removing any OB work product, leaving only Dobbins' words. I then took the additional step of deleting his redundant, superfluous words.
