Greg Tepper: "...not to mention the outrageous defensive line crop where the rich get richer."

Huh? I must have been asleep cuz I don't remember a "crop." What am I missing?
They have a lot more depth than we do

DE Myles Garrett is a beast, no question

NT Alonzo Williams - returning starter
DE Julien Obioha - returning starter
NT 4-star Zaycoven Henderson (cough)

NT 3/4-star Hardreck Walker

DE 4-star Qualen Cunningham

DE 4-star Daeshon Hall

DT 3/4-star Jay Arnold

DL 4-star Justin Manning

DL 4-star Deshawn Washington

Of the 2015s, besides 5-star Mack, they also got 4-star DT Kingsley KeKe

Here are some Jeff Howe blurbs on each recruit --

There is alot to read here

I found out about Kirk Johnson (San Jose, Calif./Valley Christian) after hearing about his unofficial visit for the Kansas State game in 2013. I got in touch with his father, Lifetime Longhorn Johnnie Johnson, a few days later and after a lengthy phone conversation, I learned a lot about an intriguing legacy prospect. This includes his father telling me he felt son's best position might be at safety down the road.

Johnson worked out a few months later at the U.S. Army National Combine in San Antonio. He was one of the top performers at the event showing a nice combination of foot quickness, ball skills and the ability that made Tommie Robinson tell the Top247 ball carrier he needed to start watching a lot of video of Marshall Faulk because that's how the Longhorns viewed his potential role.

Having played in a Wing-T offense in high school, it'll be a change of pace for Johnson. After all, it's hard to take advantage of his kind of skills without opening things up.

Chris Warren was just a sophomore when I met him on the track at Rockwall High School late in the afternoon a few springs ago. He had a tremendous presence about him then, and he's filled out what was, at the time, a wiry 6-foot-2-inch frame to 239 pounds.

He played in an offense where the style was similar to Auburn's offense – up-tempo, no-huddle but with a very physical mindset of running the ball. That's what makes Warren the rare big back who can play in any offense, and he gives Texas a runner who is capable of carrying the offensive load. He carried the ball 250 times as a senior and averaged 9.4 yards per rush.

The one play that impressed me the most of the times I saw him in person was a wheel route I watched him catch for a long gain in a game against Rowlett. For a back at his size to have the ability to create separation, accelerate up the field, attack the football and be fluid while making the catch and then ripping off 48 yards down to the 1-yard line was eye-popping.

He's a special talent and has the ability to be such on the Forty Acre
