2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I won't discuss what, but some things entered the picture and he changed his mind from Texas.  To whom he was 80% committed.

There is still a remote chance he will have a change of heart - but it looks grim.

That's just the way it is out west.  Moving on.
Will you be like utisdabomb12 and tell us after NSD?

If you bump into his snowmobile, you will have t let us know what he said

lmao oh yeah no doubt lmao i will i think he's still bitter over Gilmer beating Gladewater and Gilmer taking there STATE title away from them lol j/k lol

I honestly felt like the CLC rankings and information needed to be shared with Mack's family. It's just facts, so I didn't see any harm in it.
I'm with you, always good to distribute all of the pertinent data. I'm sure he gets a lot of BS personal crap from others. Keep up the good work my friend.

"....... Strong’s program needs a healthy shot of athleticism at all positions, no question, but it also needs playmakers, men with an aggressive mental makeup who want to rebuild the Texas brand into the rock ‘em, sock ‘em outfit that Strong envisioned upon his hiring.

In other words, this program needs men like tight end Devonaire Clarington and linebacker Cecil Cherry, two recruits from Florida.

“We won’t need (Kyler) Murray. We won’t need Zach Gentry,†Clarington said Monday. “It would have been a blessing to get them, but we’ll get it done no matter what.

“Most likely, it is one year away, if you ask me,†he added, noting that it should be Texas’ goal to win 10 games in two years. “Hopefully we won’t come in big-headed with the hype and let the whole state of Texas down. We’ll put a smile on everybody’s face if we win more than 10 games.â€

Cherry said: “It takes pride to put on that Texas Longhorn gear.â€

In Frostproof, Fla., there’s nothing but miles of orange trees. Football is Cherry’s way out, and he’s going to take full advantage by wearing burnt orange.

“I want to say I left all my pride on the field,†Cherry said. “That’s the thing people don’t get. Down here in Florida, I tell you no lie, playing in the seventh grade, I used to grow up with a dude who grew up to be 400 pounds and ran a 4.6. He’d give it to me every day. I got bullied by them, but they helped me grow up"

When asked what these 2015 recruits will bring to Texas, Clarington said, “Attitude, swag and a ring, hopefully. Texas hasn’t been there in a long time, and if we can go run Texas, we’ll run the whole state.â€

Well, it wasn’t that long ago Texas actually did run the state. This was long before Texas A&M proclaimed as such with a Twitter hashtag.

“Mack Brown won a national title!?,†Clarington asked.

Yes, in 2005.

“In 2005? Well, that was way back then.â€

I'm not proud of it, but I felt compelled to break my own "don't tweet recruits" rule. Lord, I apologize for being one of those creepy fans/alums this one time...

HE forgives you -- 1) He knows you're fallible; 2) He realizes it was a great idea, considering you were trying to save a young man from the very grips of hell.
