2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Just got a call from U.T. checking on me (season ticket holder). They must be busting tail calling people, he didn't know we landed Boyd or Hill.

It's a direct flight to Austin from Baltimore .... Strong & Co. are over Tennessee now, almost 7 miles above ground
Charlie Strong is what we call "soft." Direct flight, my a$$.

Back in MY day, we RAN back from Baltimore. We didn't need any of these newfangled "airplanes." Next time I see Coach Strong you can bet he is going to hear it from me.

UT Air has just filed a flight plan.

It is scheduled to depart from Austin-Bergstrom Intl (KAUS) at 06:25PM CST Friday heading for William P Hobby (KHOU) for an estimated arrival at 06:54PM CST.

Going to be in Houston why ??

.... somebody leave their car there from this morning or just cheaper Hangar rate ??

Announcing after National Signing Day
Prince Tega Wanagho Jr.

I just went on a little internet field trip to read what the FSU Boards are saying about Locksley.  I found there are two main things being said:

1.  Based upon the fact that he is 'announcing' on NSD, they feel his is going to flip to another school.  I don't agree with this logic but hey just relaying what I read.

2.  Multiple posters basically said good riddance to Kai Locksley.  In the opinion of the few fans that posted on the subject, they feel like he is a 'project' and his talent does not measure up to the expectations of FSU.  They went on to say that he could play 3 positions but is not capable of playing any of them at a high level.  I don't agree with this either.

Just found it interesting that he does not seem to be a high priority compared to the other 2 QB commits and there seems to be a mindset that they care less if ends up elsewhere.  As a matter of fact, they would prefer him to go elsewhere.  I guess they aren't watching the film that I have watched.  I think the kid needs a year to develop (like most QBs), but I think he can and most likely become a very good QB at the college level.

wasnt that suppose to touchdown at 5:30 or so?

shotime73 .... scheduled for touchdown in about an hour in Austin at 5:51PM Central time

... time to set the wine down :o   remember you are in a different time zone

Maybe he is a bit of a project.  I dont care.  He is very athletic and his dad is a coach.  He is a take.

Maybe the superior QB play of late has spoiled the FSU folks a little?  We already been through that ourselves, right?

We need Kai for the depth (imagine if Heard got injured in the summer?).  We need him for the competition.  And we need him because his talents fit well into the next evolution of our offensive scheme.

aggy doesnt believe in that stuff.

They are sure it had to be a bag of ca$h

I guess in moments of self-doubt, we reach for what we know, what feels most comfortable

And envelopes of cash are what is familiar to them

For us it shows Charlie's message resonates with certain people

Not all of them  But that doesnt matter since we dont need all of them

We will get enough, and those ones are going to outwork the rest
Thanks, Juan. And that was the phrase I saw earlier today but couldn't remember where.

And consider... this is with belief and perception, before the product if firmly on the field.

What's going to be known from this group is their ability to have perceived a vision.

Excellent undercover intell you gathered on one of the key recruits on the table and one we really need.  CS visit was very timely that we want and need him.

Hopefully he signs an LOI with the Good Guys on NSD.

He's been a LSU commit for so long, makes you wonder if he is debating on leaving the state of Louisianna.

Maybe he just wants his little moment in the sun like all these other guys

He did seem to rankle at the media earlier, which left open the possibility his commitment might not be over.

We will see.

Either way, for a variety of reasons, i decided I like this kid alot. and I will be pulling for him even if its in the SEC.

Amen Juan.

With his athleticism and his background, my belief is that he has a ton of upside.  In our 'new' offense, I think a smart and mobile QB is essential.  When a QB becomes a threat with his legs it gives the defense another headache to worry about.  For whatever reason they think his talent is beneath the 'standard' that they bring in.  I think their assessment has most definitely become clouded due to recent events @ FSU.

Hey I'll tell you right now, I think it would be a huge get for us.

On another note, from looking at their roster, it looks like they have  a ton of QBs: 1 Junior, 1 Sophomore, 2 Freshmen, and possibly 2 QB commits, plus Locksley who they had listed as a QB/Athlete
