2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Obviously, I don't know jack about what was said in those 20 minutes. But we can't, as reasonable football fans, say that Murray didn't simply inform Sumlin quickly of his intention to stay committed with A&M. Could have said there was no need to sell him on anything and that he's solid. Obviously I hope that isn't the case and that he'll be putting a Texas cap on next week. But I don't think we can rule that possibility out.
That is one way of looking at it, but I have a had time believing that you don't stay longer than 20 to 30 minutes with the most important recruit to your class.

Assuming everything is true regarding the friction between Sumlin and the Murrays, you would think that it would take longer than 20 minutes to get that resolved. Just speculating here.

Evidently, there wasn't any Gumbo offered to Sumlin.  Because the way he is looking, Im sure he would have stayed for a bowl.

Sumlin didn't get the gumbo?

It's official. KM will be a Longhorn.

You know it has got to be eating the aggies up. I mean here we are in the mist of one of our worst stretches in our history, had a poor first year under our new head coach, and seemingly no positive momentum. Then you have the aggies with their move to the SEC, Johnny Football, beat Bama their first year, yada yada yada. Yet, despite all of that they realize that even when they are at their "best" and we are at our "worst", they are still playing second fiddle to the University of Texas.
I can't like this enough.

I don't think the 20 minute visit was ever confirmed.  Apparently some stalker aggy girl advised that Sumblin's car was still parked at the Murray's house after the 20 minute news hit the web.

If your Stumblin - you stay at Kyler Murray's house and build relationship / sell aggy until Kevin Murray throws your ass out on the front lawn.

Per aggie website - "Frequently Asked Questions for Boosters"

...  If a violation of NCAA rules occurs, even unintentionally, it may jeopardize a prospect's or current student-athlete's eligibility. For example, if you were to contact prospective student-athletes and tell them they should attend A&M, you would be an A&M booster; Texas A&M would be held responsible for your actions, and the prospect’s eligibility at A&M would be jeopardized.  Generally, boosters are not allowed to be involved in athletics recruiting in any manner.
Q: Can a booster follow a current student-athlete on Twitter, reply to a current student-athlete’s tweet, or tweet about a current student-athlete or TAMU athletic team?

A: Yes, a booster can follow a current student-athlete on Twitter, reply to a current student-athlete’s tweet, or tweet generally about a current student-athlete or team. However, boosters should refrain from tweeting about prospective student-athletes.
Q: What is a representative of Texas A&M’s athletic interests (commonly known as a booster)?

A:  A representative of Texas A&M University's athletics interests (commonly known as a "booster") is one who:

  • Has made a donation to Texas A&M or 12th Man Foundation (including donating money for priority season tickets, gifts of cash, goods, or services),
  • Is or has been a member of a booster organization associated with Texas A&M Athletics, (for example the 12th Man Foundation, Maroon Club, Quarterback Club, Dugout Club, Blair’s Buddies, etc.)
OR

  • Has been involved in any way with promoting Texas A&M’s athletic programs.
FWIW, as I understand it - I believe Manziel's Tweet directly to Kyler was a violation of NCAA rules ... and I wouldn't put it past the NCAA to make an example of JFF if Kyler signs with ATM

Any chance the 20 minute comment about Sumlins visit was a joke? I heard a photo was posted with it.
It could absolutely have been a joke. No way to know until Lotus clarifies and he still hasn't done that.

What I think is likely is that we have five scholarships to give for offensive players. The seven we are still recruiting are Jamabo, Locksley, Warren, Reed, Murray, Lodge, and Brossette. Which are the two that don't come?
