2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

DURING this visit is when my source called and told me Boyd to Texas. Let that sink in a moment.
I believe Boyd has been committed to Texas since his state chamionship game.  He is enjoying the process.

I dont see him being a NSD committ.  I think Strong has all of this planned and once Boyd along with others committ it will be a snowball effect.

lol the looch? my brain is so out of it lol  from eating so much popcorn

No shows this weekend at aggy:

Metairie (La.) Rummel DB Kristian Fulton

River Ridge (La.) John Curtis OT Willie Allen

Spring Westfield DT Ed Oliver

Nacogdoches S Brandon Jones

Sachse WR Devin Duvernay

Silsbee OL Patrick Hudson (Baylor commit)

Greg Little - Kyler's team mate at Allen

Wow. Just wow.

I forgot to mention . . . OU has ZERO visitors this weekend. They're having to sit and sweat it out with some of their verbals.

I think Strong has made such an impression on this class that it will feed directly into next year. Meanwhile Sumlin & Stoops will be playing catch up all year.

If this falls the way it looks, Strong will have Texas back to cherry picking talent, but on a NATIONAL level, including JUCO.

Those were always the biggest knocks on Mack when it came to recruiting. He got so content with his in state connections that he got lazy. I do not EVER see that being a problem with Coach Strong.

The last two CBs for Daylon Mack have been Texas (one is Auburn guy)

There has not been a new prediction for Davante Davis in a week

The last 6 CB entries fro Holton Hill have been Texas

The last CB entry for Kris Boyd was Taylor Hamm for aggy.  The last 5 before that were Texas, & 17 of the last 19 total were Texas

All the most recent CBs for Soso Jamabo are UCLA. The last was Barton Simmons on Jan 23.

The last 3 CB predictions for Demarkus Lodge were split Texas, Ole Miss & aggy.  The 2 most recent were Jan 23 (UT/Miss)

Anyone got that recap of Macks weekend Gerry Hamilton just tweeted out?

ESPN -- http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncfrecruiting/on-the-trail/post?id=65118

“It went great!†Mack said. “The vibe was completely different from the last time I was there. I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy it that much, but my perspective on Texas is way different now. Great staff! Great people and my parents really liked it as well.†

While Mack spent considerable time with good friend and Texas early enrollee Malik Jefferson, it was time spent with Strong and staff that ultimately had to make the difference if the Longhorns are going to seriously be in the mix come signing day on Feb. 4.

Strong’s message was a simple one.

“That I could come in and fill Malcom Brown’s spot and have a huge impact as a freshman,†Mack said.

Up next for Mack will be an unofficial visit to TCU next weekend. The Horned Frogs will get the last chance with the No. 1-ranked prospect in the Lone Star State in a recruitment that has become a battle between Texas A&M, Texas and TCU.

While TCU was considered a slight favorite over Texas A&M headed into the Texas visit, the waters have been muddied as expected with late-January visits.

“I can’t really give an order at this point, but Texas made a huge impression," Mack said. "I have a couple of guys I’ll talk to about it all when I get back home, but Texas definitely gave me a lot to think about, and I feel really good about them headed into signing day.†

Before making the trip to TCU, Mack will receive in-home visits from Strong on Tuesday night and Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin Wednesday night.

Mack, a former Texas A&M verbal, is set to announce his decision on national signing day, Feb. 4, live on ESPN at Gladewater High.

I would love to have heard, Kai, and Murray all together. I would feel confident with any of those three in the game if we are in fact going with a spread like offense.
