Thought on Gentry flipping to Michigan

Locksley can transition to WR under a pro-style offense. He's being recruited as an ATH.

I don't think CFS promises recruits anything with regards to playing time.
Locksley is being recruited as a QB. He told HornSports that he eliminated any school that wasn't talking to him about being a QB.

That's not to say that WR might not be in his future, as much as it means it's likely at least 2 years down the road.

Now the he's afraid of competition talk seems even more silly with Gentry coming out say he decommitted a week ago.

Before Murray visit.

It's a good situation for both Zach and UT. Zach gets to work with Harbaugh and a offense that fits him and UT gets the best QB in the country.

If you take a look at history, it has not been kind to QB's that originally committed to TEXAS and then flipped to somewhere else..two that come to mind are John Brantley and Ryan Perriloux, or even Jevan Snead...Not saying that will happen to ZG....but it takes a special kind of player/person to be a Longhorn..if its not in their heart then I dont want them here

I cant be upset with a kid doing whats best for him if we are also looking around... I liked him also but he just found himself at a great program with a great coach. I wish the kid luck.
