Possible Transfers

Chip is reporting that he expects about a half dozen transfers. Mcfarland is apparently gone. 

Some more Strong roster house cleaning.

Think this was to be expected. Not meaning mj exactly, but more "cutting of the fat." However, I don't like the naming of names before they happen.

Yep, more roster cleaning. I expect more players to be dismissed too. It's fairly obvious that Strong is trying to build his roster and rid this team of Mack Brown players. Every player that's transferred or been dismissed has been a Mack Brown player (except for maybe Hampton). Granted, Hampton was really a Mack player too since Strong was almost forced to take him in the last recruiting cycle. I haven't heard a single problem with Strong's guys like Poona Ford, Jason Hall, Chris Nelson, etc.

This will put into perspective how bad Chambers was. Mcfarland was our last TE commit (2011). He had 178 receiving yards on his career at Texas.

Actually Whitely committed last year but the point remains. 2 TE commits in 4 years.

Since Strong has only had one class so far, I really hope he doesn't have any of his guys transfer. . .but he will and before long. . .
