The playbook has always been the same on these matters.  When aggy get's spurned by any recruit, but especially by one that chooses UT like Jefferson just did, maroons will say the recruit "settled", they were overrated anyway, they would not have fit in with aggy "culture", they sucked, etc.

Hook 'em!

It's funny you bring up this point.

I've tried to have a polite conversation with aggies about their antiquated, fake army culture. Boy, do they get uptight about it! I've told more than a few point blank, "Y'all would've been better served to change the university's name to Texas State and normalize traditions. Stop worshiping the corps. Hell, they only account for 4% of the student body. Most of the land-grant colleges nationwide did; Okie State, New Mexico St, etc."

But, that's what makes 'em so "special". Carry on, aggie

Which would be an excellent hire IMO. It's my opinion that Bobo is one of the most-underrated Coordinators in College Football.
Yep.

It might be going down today actually. The Georgia boards are saying Bobo and his wife are back in Colorado. Could just be a second interview but not sure why you would take your wife.

Sounding like Bobo is pretty much a done deal.

Hello RT @TFrei: CSU is closing in on a deal with Georgia OC Mike Bobo. Story posting shortly.

How does this effect Texas in a positive way?

1.) Bedford remains at Texas unless another more lucrative opportunity presents itself.

2.) WR Recruit Gilbert Johnson is currently committed to Georgia to play in Bobo's Offense. With this shake up, I expect he'll finally come to the decision to move on and take the Burnt Orange. Johnson is one of the Florida Five who with the help of Cherry, could likely pull Clarington, Irvin and Davis to Texas.
